Great piece at AutoBlog

How Not to Buy a Project Vehicle: The tale of the 1975 International Pickup

Great piece over at AutoBlog on the search, purchase and transportation of a 1975 IH 4x4 from a fellow called 'Shady Bobby'.  Funny story and great pics of a neat old truck.  Been there - doing that.

1957 IH A-120

Another beauty from Oregon:

This is a 1957 International A-120. I bought this truck in Montana twelve years ago but now its got to go because I am making room for other projects. This truck is in great original shape with original paint on the cab. Truck bed has recently been repainted. The seat has been re-upholstered but he door panels are original and in good shape. Mechanically very sound. Ive had the head re-conditioned; all the wheel bearings have been serviced and are in good shape. I have switched out the non-synchro transmission for one with synchros. This makes it easier to drive. The original transmission comes with it. It has a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. It came with very low gears so I have changed the rear-end gearing to four: tens. The front end still needs to be switched which will cost approx. $300. This is a great truck and you wont find one in better original condition than this.
