Great piece over at AutoBlog on the search, purchase and transportation of a 1975 IH 4x4 from a fellow called 'Shady Bobby'. Funny story and great pics of a neat old truck. Been there - doing that.
.
Just a collection of old truck photos that I have come across. Just wish I had a barn big enough for all of them... this will just have to do.
Another beauty from Oregon:
This is a 1957 International A-120. I bought this truck in Montana twelve years ago but now its got to go because I am making room for other projects. This truck is in great original shape with original paint on the cab. Truck bed has recently been repainted. The seat has been re-upholstered but he door panels are original and in good shape. Mechanically very sound. I’ve had the head re-conditioned; all the wheel bearings have been serviced and are in good shape. I have switched out the non-synchro transmission for one with synchros. This makes it easier to drive. The original transmission comes with it. It has a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. It came with very low gears so I have changed the rear-end gearing to four: ten’s. The front end still needs to be switched which will cost approx. $300. This is a great truck and you won’t find one in better original condition than this.

Here is a ‘pickup truck’ for sale that your neighbors would love! Just need about 200 acres or so to go along with it so you could really have some fun with it.
1963 Kaiser Military 4X4 Diesel multi-fuel, shortened professionally, licensed, new clutch, ready to drive anywhere, winch, low hours, all lights work, heater, extra set of tires, hard top, drop sides, yes it will do 60 M.P.H. You must see this one to believe it.

Saw one of these a few years ago at an IH get-together and it had been totally restored and it was just fantastic.
1968 International Harvester Shortbed Crewcab 4x4 Project!!! All original including the 345 V8 that was completely rebuilt 5 years ago. It has a manual transmission. I fired it up about 6 months ago and it ran good, but is a project. I have over $400 in new brake parts that haven't been installed on it yet. The previous owner started to rewire the dash so that is all apart at the moment. This is a project truck but it wont take much because it is complete. Very solid, some rust around rear bumper on both sides, other than that it is in good condition. Only dent is under right rear taillight and that can be popped out easily, very straight truck with original paint. I have an extra windshield to go with as well. Heavy duty "Warn" winch mounted on the front bumper. All chrome present and in good condition. Trying to restore the Mach 1 otherwise I would keep this one. I have seen what these trucks go for in worse condition. If I keep and finish truck price will go up. These trucks are really cool when finished, perfect for the collector. Sorry no trades

Welcome to the Truck Ranch!

Another real beauty – but beautiful in an brutal, ugly way that I have always liked. A sharp looking 1968 International pickup 4X4. New Paint Job (Red), new spray-in bed liner (black), BIG TIRES, CD Stereo, 4-spd transmission, late model suburban front and rear ends, V-8 International motor. This Truck is rated a "TEN"

What a beautiful truck - For sale a 1964 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4, Flat fender, WM300. Truck has a new crate O.E. 251 engine installed-runs & drives. Bed is from a 1951 Dodge Powerwagon B-3-PW and is not bolted on. Bed needs some work--hadn't gotten that far, but it's not terribly bad. Fenders do have some cancer but it not bad compared to some I have seen. Have the Braden winch & bumper for the front, running boards for the bed sides (missing in the picture), 2 extra wheels & tires. Also have the original motor -- has blown head gasket. Tires on the truck are new. Seat has been re-upholstered, no head liner (have original headline but not in the best of shape). 12 Volt system and syncromesh tranny (shifts like regular truck). Cab has been repainted, have all emblems, glass is all good. Bolt the bed on and drive as is or finish where I left off.
